Apologies for my non-disclosed leave of absence. I really needed to be offline as I was TOO distracted from real time problems.

"...but the fact is we have to work with what we've got..."

and therein lies the truth of it. The truth of bashing one's head against a brickwall...of knowing when to leave the fight to those with 'fire in their bellies' for it. I for one don't believe in being more a part of any problem than a part of its solution. I factored this in to my decision to early retire 7 years ago.

It is interesting though how "new" ideas are simply old ones rebranded. They change the names of housing estates to remove the stigma associated with the old name. 'disability' becomes (dis)ability to focus on the positive. The Electricity Commission becomes Energy Australia a few of countless examples.

A part of the topic of 'religious education' is the backlash against it? Worthy of an assignment? The tensions within the education process are reflective of the broader tensions...or not?
